Elipse Power ADMS featured at SENDI 2016
The 12th edition of the Power Distribution Brazilian Seminar (SENDI 2016), regarded as Latin America’s greatest event in the area, took place between November 7 and 10 at the Expotrade Convention Center, in Curitiba. Promoted by the Brazilian Association of Power Distributors (Abradee) and Copel, the event featured some of the most important companies in the field; among them was Elipse Software, which introduced its power distribution management solution, Elipse Power ADMS.

The platform can be integrated to GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in order to import pre-existing geo-referenced networks from third-party systems that facilitate the implementation process. Additionally, its Schematic Views allow users to design single-line functional diagrams, which dramatically reduce engineering time and increase operational safety when created automatically.

The Elipse Power ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) also features a Self-healing module. By reestablishing power via alternative means, the solution is able to take decisions quickly and autonomously, in a significant shorter time and with fewer consumers affected by the power outage, thus improving the company’s SAIDI and SAIFI indexes.
